Position: Physician Assistant (PA) - Hospitalist (Night Shift)

Position Overview:
Inhospital Physicians is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join the hospitalist team at Christ Hospital in Jersey City. This full-time position offers a 7 on/7 off schedule with 12-hour night shifts. The PA will work under the direct oversight of attending physicians, providing critical care and patient management during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 3-5 admissions per shift, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care transitions during the night.

• Collaborate closely with attending physicians for oversight and clinical guidance.

• No ICU coverage, Rapid Response, or codes.

• Utilize Meditech EMR to document and manage patient data effectively.

• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant (PA) with active licensure in New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of inpatient hospitalist experience or equivalent.

• Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills, while collaborating with attending physicians for patient oversight.

• Experience managing admissions and inpatient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

• Familiarity with Meditech EMR or similar medical software is preferred.

• Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to a 7 on/7 off schedule.

• 7 on/7 off rotation, with 12-hour night shifts.
